Progressive Rosary
Please join us for a very special celebration on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24 as we pray a progressive rosary and bless our new Immaculate Conception stained glass window.
We will begin to assemble at 8:15 a.m. on the OLPH School football field and as the rosary is prayed, we will progress towards the church stopping at each decade. We will conclude the rosary at the bell tower where we will gather to bless the new stained
glass window. Mass will follow.

FASTING AND ABSTINENCE
The Church asks those over the age of 14 to abstain from eating meat every Friday during Lent and on Ash Wednesday. In addition, the church asks everyone in good health, ages 18‐59, to fast (having only one main meal) on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. When considering your meals, keep in mind that only fish and shellfish are not considered meat. Beef, pork, poultry are meat including broth.
FROM THE USCCB: Sweeping HHS Mandate stands, violating Conscience Rights and Religious Liberty.
On January 20, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) reaffirmed a rule that virtually all private health care plans must cover sterilization, aborifacients, and contraception. The exemption provided for "religious employers" was so narrow that it failed to cover the vast majority of faith-based organizations-including Catholic hospitals, universities, and charities - that help millions every year. For more information on this mandate and how you can help, click here.
THANK YOU!
Our parish office staff would like to say thank you for your love, support and prayers that are being extended to Elaine, our Director of Liturgy and Music who is recovering from injuries that she received as a result of an accident. Elaine is doing very well but needs rest to recuperate. Please keep this in mind when considering a hospital visit and instead, please offer her a spiritual bouquet by praying for her in the Chapel. Cards for Elaine are being collected in the Parish Office.
