Boys and Girls entering the Fourth Grade (or higher) in the Fall, and who have received First Holy Communion, are invited to participate as Altar Servers to serve at the Masses of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

Baptismal Preparation

Our sessions focus on belonging to a community of faith and offers parents and godparents a good foundation from which to celebrate this sacrament of initiation. Sessions are open to those baptizing in our parish as well as other parishes. Anyone interested in helping with this important ministry is encouraged to join us.

Bereavement Ministry

Covenant Marriage Preparation

Designed to help couples understand the covenant nature of the Sacrament of Matrimony and to understand the depth and the strength of the marriage vows. Couples will receive certification of attendance after completion of two sessions. Sessions are held three times a year.

Eucharistic Ministers & Lectors

God calls our ministers in a special way to unite His Church in worship. If you feel a calling to serve at Mass as a Eucharistic Minister or to proclaim the Word as a Lector, please call the Parish Office for an application. Home Visit Ministry

"See Christ in them, be Christ for them." Raphael Health Ministry has a homebound ministry for members of our faith community who are ill, lonely, or homebound. We invite you to be a part of this ministry. Training and ongoing support are provided. Example of visitor activities are listening, praying, reading, or just "being there" to combat isolation and loneliness. Through this ministry, the homebound are connected to the whole faith community. For information on being a visitor, or if you know of someone who would benefit from a visit, please call the Raphael Health Ministry Office at 298-5443.

Liturgical Environment

This committee serves the decorative environmental needs of the parish for liturgical seasons, special Feast Day Masses and celebrations throughout the year. If you are interested in joining our committee, and can help with seasonal or weekly decorations, please call the parish office.

If you have a love of music and would like to join us in prayerful song, we encourage you to join any of our music groups. The door is always open for new vocalists and instrumentalists.

Our Health Ministry offers health education, referrals, resources, health advocacy, spiritual support, counseling and home visits to those in need provided by volunteer and Faith Community Nurses, health related Professionals, and lay volunteers. The Health Ministry Office is located in Harvard House at 689 Harvard (behind Notre Dame Hall). Office hours are Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon. Phone number is 298-5443.
